This project involves the structural design of a new 14,600 square foot community center in Dania Beach, FL. The center includes an indoor basketball court, gymnasium, classrooms, offices, locker rooms, and a kitchen area. The structural framing consists of steel joists supported by load-bearing CMU walls on shallow foundations.
