Marcus Unterweger, the Principal of MUE, is a seasoned Florida-registered professional engineer with a rich background spanning over two decades. His expertise encompasses a diverse range of structural projects, including educational and municipal facilities, high-rise constructions, residential and commercial structures, and restorative efforts for buildings and sea walls. Since taking the helm of MUE in 2010, Marcus has cultivated a team of innovative professionals dedicated to excellence. His academic credentials include a master’s degree in structural engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an MBA from the Business School of Edinburgh.

Ricardo, with a tenure of over ten years at MUE, serves as Vice President. His extensive background encompasses more than nineteen years in structural engineering, where he has honed his expertise in building structures, analysis, and the latest industry standards and software. His experience spans across various market sectors, including recreation, education, municipal, residential, commercial, and hospitality.

In his leadership role, Ricardo is responsible for shaping MUE’s technical strategy, setting our standards and QA/QC procedures. His effective communication skills are instrumental in liaising with staff, clients, and the entire design team, facilitating coordinated efforts that drive project success. Ricardo’s ability to swiftly grasp project requirements significantly contributes to the favorable outcomes of his projects.

Ricardo’s academic credentials include both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in structural engineering, obtained from McGill University. His educational background, combined with his practical experience, positions him as a key asset to MUE and its engineering endeavors.
